Bangers and Mash

​ Exactly one year ago today Nic took on the biggest adventure of his life when he asked me to move in. It’s been the happiest year of his life. Just ask him. He’ll tell you ALL about it. Three hundred and sixty five days of sheer bliss.  Here we are, one year later, on another adventure! He must like me well enough, he’s taking me to meet his mother.  London, here we come! I’ll just put theses pictures here to give the perfect metaphor for our lives, and the marital bliss Nic has to look forward to over the next 35+ years of his life. Nic is the the perfectly packed, neat suitcase. Mine? Well, you can see mine in all of her 48.8lb glory.  This is our first flight together. I’ve only lost him at the airport once so far and he’s figured out Apple Music, so in all, I think we’re off to a good start. 

​ Two days and counting until we head out to the UK. Nic and I are tying up loose ends and frantically doing laundry. Nic has been in the field a lot lately and has had a lot of catching up to do both at work and in the laundry room.  This fortune cookie came to me today as Bella and I had lunch post-hair update. It felt like a fitting beginning for my blog and our adventure.
